Over a decade at the intersection of how organisations govern complex technology, and how their people actually adopt it.
I'm Yana Grevtseva, founder of Principled AI Advisory. What started as a career in digital learning design has evolved into something more specific: helping organisations govern AI responsibly and build the human capability to use it well.
At Latitude Financial Services, I built regulated digital capability systems from scratch in partnership with Risk, Compliance, and IT, taking compliance completion from around 70% to over 99% by designing around how people actually learn and behave, not just what policy required.
At QBE Insurance, I managed governance and operations for enterprise learning platforms serving 22,000 users globally, covering data privacy obligations, vendor compliance, and platform governance.
Looking back, I was doing AI governance work before it had that name. The data integrity issues, the vendor assessment processes, the challenge of converting regulatory language into systems people actually use, those are precisely the problems at the heart of responsible AI implementation.
I'm currently designing the Responsible AI Framework for Pablander Academy, a globally recognised digital art education studio, aligned to Australia's 8 AI Ethics Principles, NAVA, Creative Australia, NIST AI RMF, and GDPR.
My Master of International Relations (Geopolitics & Environmental Governance, Monash University) shapes how I think about AI governance at the policy level. I'm a daily hands-on user of Claude, Base44, ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot, NotebookLM, and Perplexity, my views on what is useful versus hype come from use, not just reading.
